NOTE:

Reducing the price further to hopefully move it.

At this price, you could sell the engine parts and probably recoup

the initial cost.

If you convert the hull for an outboard, you’d have only the cost of a used or

new outboard. Filling in the hole from the transom assembly and outdrive

is a fairly simple process. Choice then is a bracket or cut the transom.

OR, if you’re unsuccessful in freeing the block from the underside,

you can purchase a replacement short block for about what you’d pay for

a good used outboard. Reassemble and you’d have a good working I/O.

(We have all the removed parts and they’re in good condition.)

You can do this!

You’d have a fantastic offshore or inshore boat.

Removed old vinyl and foam interior,

and fold-down seats.

You can see how much room there is in the

cockpit if you go with pedestal chairs or leaning post.

Needs a good pressure wash.

Mercruiser V-8, 5.7, 260 h.p. 1,163 hrs on meter

The hull is a deep-V with high freeboard and obviously closed transom.

Would be great for offshore and can also be used in bay or inshore.

The engine is locked up, but otherwise is clean and good condition.

We’ve made different attempts to solve this unsuccessfully, including removal of manifolds and heads. We have another treatment to try and possibly apply heat. This has worked on other engines. Going to let someone else take it from here. We have all the parts removed to get to the block, including the outdrive.

We have not removed the oil pan and approached the problem from the cylinders and shaft, which should make it easier to free-up. I have a couple more pics of the heads and valves available.

The trailer is heavy, steel and in good condition. Originally registered in

Ga, so could be little exposure to salt water.

Both have current registrations.
