You never know what you might catch when you drop a hook in Louisiana waters. But when Victor Moran caught this peacock bass from Bayou St. John, it was certainly a surprise. Unfortunately, he didn’t get to keep the fish for further indentification because he got the hook in his finger and had to make a trip to the emergency room. He did report it to the LDWF for further investigation. They plan to electrofish the area to see if there are more.
