Left Albany LA at 3:00 am. and drove to South Texas for 9 hours, hunted that afternoon shot my first two turkeys ever and drove back home the next morning before the weather got bad. One on the right weighed 24 lbs. 1 3/4' spurs with a 10 3/4' beard. The one one the left weighed 19 lbs. 9 1/2' beard with 1 1/4' spurs. I only get to turkey hunt one weekend a year due to work, I finally was able to get it done this year.

A comment titled: Wisconsin 8 pt. huge deer in response to a report titled: Dragging out a deer by hand

I drug it through the snow 10 inches deep in a cut over, 80 yrds. to the truck, it took over three hours. I got dehydrated and hurled three times from exhaustion. That was hell on earth but worth every minute of it.
