I'm looking for a Salmon fly reel to balance my Bruce & Walker 16ft Norway. My current reels are too light in weight. That's why I want something heavy between 18-20 ounces. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

The manufacturer of bait casting reels matters much for selecting the reel of your choice. These reels are for those who want more control and accuracy as they cast. Those having lots of past experience perfecting their technique. These reels have a higher gear ratio giving a faster retrieve. A dependable braking system of this reel will result in easy casting. There are many brands available in the market around $250.

You can fish lakes and ponds from a shore or from a boat. You can fish in shallow or deep water, in open water, or near structure/cover. Depending on the lake or pond you are fishing, you can catch fish species like largemouth and smallmouth bass, pike, pickerel, walleye, perch, sunfish, rock bass, and trout.

I bought this real a week ago and it’s amazing. This is by far not a cheap reel and it works smooth. This is my first bait-cast reel and I was worried about birds nesting. But I set up the drag and magnet dial and started to use it. I have very little bird nesting with it. I can pitch this setup way better than my spinning reel. After I used this I went back to my spinning reel to pitch into a can I had set out and missed it by a mile. I tried to stop the spinning reel with my thumb but of course, that did not work. I would recommend this reel to anyone looking to get into bait-casting.

The larvae don't seem to be able to feed themselves, and carry a yolk-sac that provides their nutrition. Before the yolk-sac utterly disappears, the little fish should become capable of feeding themselves. once they have developed to the purpose wherever they're capable of feeding themselves, the fish are referred to as fry....
