Mr., Brian and his buddies from Michigan were looking to find out what all the fuss was about to catch speckled trout.....we headed out early only to find ourselves putting fish in the boat almost every cast.....the water was flying as the fish put on a show these guys will never forget.....after they had their fill on the trout we then set out to catch bulls....landing their first redfish ever not to mention biggest fish they had ever caught they had enough and were more than satisfied.....we had a total of 72 trout and left them biting.....it may have been their first trip to Venice but will not be their last....enjoyed spending the day with a group of great guys!!!

decided to take another scout trip before any trout trips came up to make sure the trout was ready.....along for the ride was my wife April and youngest son Braxston.....we headed out early with 75 live shrimp in hopes of catching trout and we did just that....it was tough keeping them in a frenzy with only 2 lines in the water while tending to a 4 yr old but we managed alright.....we landed a total of 16 monster trout which filled 2 gallon bags of fillets.....every fish was tearing line and putting on a show....the wife and son had an awesome time and I enjoyed every minute.....it was a trip to remember!!!

figured it was about that time to make a lil scout trip with my oldest son Jaxon.....we headed out early bring 50 live shrimp in hopes to find some speckled trout.....didn't take long....at our first stop we found ourselves bringing in both reds and trout.....it was a one stop shop.....after an hour and a half we were out of shrimp with 19 trout, 6 reds, and drum....we were home in time for breakfast.....great memories with my 6 yr old sharing what we both love.....we had a terrific time!!! its safe to say the trout are definitely here!!!

Last day with Vince and his crew from North Carolina....fin ally had a decent day of weather....wasnt the exact wind we hoped for we made it work......it was pretty calm that morning so we started out again taking their limit of snapper....shortly after we caught our snapper the wind picked up quickly but by that time we were already pulling in the reds....we threw back several bulls and large drum....a great finish to a tough 3 days of weather!!!

April 30, 2016 at 8:41pm

April 14
Another day of horrible weather but we made the best of it.....started the morning off with beautiful weather.....calm winds and seas made it easy to land our snapper limit early and good thing because as we started chasing reds the weather approached quickly giving us enough time to land 7 reds, a drum, and sheephead....all in all we had a great time and safe trip!!

April 13th
Vince and his buddies return....this time bringing a newbie to the Venice salt game...fishing 3 days....decided to target red snapper, sheepshead, and bull reds on the first day....with bad weather approaching they decided to go so we set off to hit the snapper first....catching our limit of snapper we landed 2 fish over 17lbs and the new guy Ryan landing the biggest....it was an epic adventure for Ryan....we then headed to shallower waters and took home several sheepshead and reds before the weather hit....it was a rough day but we fought back and beat the odds!!!

Mr. Rob and his 2 workers out of Nashville, Tn. headed to Venice to try their luck on a meat haul and that's exactly what they received.....after a day of tuna fishing they said they didn't expect the inshore to be too exciting but they were wrong.... it took nearly 15 minutes to land the full limit of red snapper....these fish were literally 10-15 ft below the surface.....we then headed to some shallow water rigs to target bull reds and sheepshead.....after 45 mins of none stop catching I had to shut them down....we had close to 200 lbs and a jack crevelle.....we then head to some shallow bays to finish off the day targeting reds....unfortunately they had to be in around 2:00 to catch a plane so we landed 4 nice reds and left them biting..... With close to forty pounds of fillets to add to their tuna catch they were stuck trying to figure out how they would get their catch home.....it was a great day with great customers who will definitely be returning.....they are planning to return for a duck hunting trip this coming season!!!

This group of buddies wanted to extend their hunting season by trying their luck on a nutria hunt. With the help of their 12 gauge and .22 rifles they put a lil rat pile on the deck. They were overwhelmed to see that the rats just continued to come out the longer we hunted. they are wanting to make this an annual event!!

Mr. Peter and his son still had an itch at the end of duck season to make a hunt. It was a nutria/hog hunt that they chose. We started out with the smaller .22 rifles executing some giant rats ranging from 5 to 25lbs. Idling down narrow canals we would spot the nutria either on the banks close to the waters edge or swimming along the banks. When they had their fill on the nutria we moved on to the hogs. As we were in route to the area where we expected to find the pigs we were able to jump 6 and harvest one. A great experience for a father and son to share!!!

Night hunts are now available for the Nutria!!!!

What a day we had dropping hogs!! Mr. Allen and his group came with their trigger fingers ready to let loose on some land destroyers. Even though we didn't put a dent in the hog population we were able to harvest 3 nice hogs and had a safe and exciting hunt. Bringing along two younger boys made an even more memorable hunt to be able to teach and share the outdoors with!! the vegetation is weak and leaving the pigs exposed which allows us to get right on top of them. Come and enjoy a great hog hunting experience!!! Call Kingdom Charters to book your hog hunt today!!

Had a group from Walker, La looking for some redfish action and they got just that. Headed straight for the younger fish along the edges of the shallow bays on the west side of the mighty Mississippi. Water was beautiful with that green and clear color. We then headed to some deeper canals and finished up with some bigger reds and solid fighting black drum. A successful experience to some great guys who cant wait to return! Already planning a trip to return this summer! Call to book your trip today!!

Had the opportunity to take this group of golfing buddies on a Venice redfish experience!!! Catching over 20 bull reds broke the ice and partially wore these guys out. We then headed in to more shallower waters to get our fill on slot reds and releasing plenty more!! Call to book your trip with Kingdom Charters 5047569254.

Thanks for looking out and the support guys.....you would think with them being a burden to the land enforcement would do just about anything to help get rid of them but I guess that's not the case....just figured that since I really enjoy hunting them that it would be cool to give other hunters the chance to experience the thrill.

I spoke with the enforcement department two weeks ago but maybe he didn't realize that we had land because he told me that they were only allowed 5 without the trappers license. ill check with them again to be sure. Thanks

we like to have minimum of 3 guys. 200 per hunter and the limit is five per hunting license unless you buy a trappers license which allows you to kill as many as you want. the problem with that is that if your out of state your trappers license if pretty expensive. each trip last about 4 to 5 hours.
