Is the fishing report section the new place for classified sales??? Just wondering.. Does anyone else see what I'm talking about??

By the way, yesterday the wife and I did fish the PAC area and had a good day of fishing. It was like fishing in a hurricane though. 45 specks and whit trout and a 29' redfish. All on Cocohoes...

Can someone tell me if you can drive on Elmers Island all the way to Cominada Pass? Hear some say it was closed and some say it's open to vehicles.... Please clear this up for me??

Had pretty good morning fishing yesterday. Plenty of Reds and a few specks... But question is this... Being I am a sport fisher I am required to have all safety gear on board including running lights. Are commercial fishermen exempt from having required running lights??? I met up with an oyster boat yesterday morning which never slowed and was running in the dark without a light what so ever! Just venting my opinion and saying I hope no one ever gets hurt.... SAFE FISHING TO ALL AND GOD BLESS!!!

I have been fishing the Pointe Aux Chene area for 40+ years and yesterday put the icing on the cake. My wife and I were fishing anchored in a bayou along with several other boats. We were all about 50 to 60 yards apart and were all catching fish. These two guys pulled into the bayou and pulled along side of my wife and I about 15 yards from where my boat was anchored, where we were casting, threw his anchor out and started fishing. Then this guy had the nerve to ask if we were catching... I know we can fish where ever we want but these guys had no respect for any of the other fishermen or anything... AND PEOPLE WONDER HOW ROAD RAGE HAPPENS... My cooler was full so we left very upset and didn't upset any one else. So excuse me for venting... I apologize.

Little bay at the end of Bayou PAC to the right. I don't mind telling... Everybody should be able to enjoy fishing!! A lot of people don't realize that if they catch fish in a certain spot, thousands of fish have been caught there before he caught there... We fished tight line also. If you go, good luck!!!

Wife and I went Monday at noon and in 1 1/2 hours had our limits of some of the prettiest trout we've seen in a long time(2 at a time).... Only thing, had to sacrifice A TON OF TACKLE to the sharks!!! Hundreds of them!! And I mean HUGE sharks. But all in all, had a wonderful time!!

I'll have to give them a try. I surely haven't been destroying the fish by any means but if every, or close to every bite would be in the box, then we'd have a freezer full. Thanks for the info!!!
Good fishing!!

Wrong answer!!!! Why should I sell what I have and give up what I enjoy most??? And as far as complaining and doing what I complained about, FAR FROM IT... I'll fish during the week and keep away from the weekend warriors that have NO respect for no one!!!

That's the way I was brought up... I could have raised all kind of hell, but that would have not solved a thing... RESPECT TO YOU BROTHER!!!

A comment titled: Running lights in response to a report titled: fine

I'm not a hunter but I do fish plenty. Running lights are required on all motor boats. If the warden gave you a ticket for lights that actually went out, it should have been a warning. I see LOTS of boats leaving the launch without lights and they don't care about others safety much less their own. If the wardens would be at the launch before day light, they would make a killing on fines for no lights alone!!! But if I get caught with a redfish that is 1/8' short of the limit, I have to pay the fine for undersized fish... Lights are required but they are for everyone's safety... But there should be some forgiving!!! Good luck with the ticket!!
