Hey yall, I got a friend coming in town (NEW ORLEANS, sorry) and he wants to find some perch or some bass or something near the city. Ive lived here my whole life and only fished saltwater, I know I know.
Any places close to the city,
with and without a boat?
We also have pirogues.
thanks for the help, it is much appreciated.
I am looking for any recommendations for some trailer repairs, other than skipper B in Westwego (nothing wrong with them, they are busy and I'm looking for options). I do not have the tools or the know how to repair my trailer so I could really use some help here. I am RN with little mechanical skills, but I can save your life if you need me to????
Any referrals are welcome, thanks!
I need some bearing seals replaced, a couple new rollers installed, a new bow rest installed, a new winch strap installed as well, and I am considering placing my trailer lights on poles elevated out of the water. there may be some other repairs needed as well that I have not located yet. I trailer my boat every weekend and Id like to know the trailer I'm pulling is not gonna end up on the side of the road.
I am looking at possibly purchasing a 1969 Boston Whaler in 'mint condition'. I'm trying to find specs on the boat but I am having trouble. Does anyone know if there is any wood in that hull? Ive been told that it is only fiberglass but I was also told that about my last hydrasport and what do you know, wood was in the transom and ROTTEN.
thanks so much!
Got a question,
I recently sold my motor off of my hydrasport hull. I would like to have the hull inspected prior to purchasing a new motor for the hull. Any suggestions?

A friend of mine bestowed upon me an 80 lb thrust saltwater minn kota trolling motor which he believes the shaft has frozen up. I figured i would take it and see if i could get it fixed. Does anyone know of a good trolling motor repairman?
Does LA allow trailer lights which are removeable or are we required to permanently fix them to our trailer? im tired of repairing my lights all the time!
Anyone have a good experience with boat covers? I need one but everyone i have bought is junk! Suggestions?
