Good evening everyone! So, the wind was pretty rough today. However, the redfish guys coming in are saying they are going to be winners! Some came in saying they spotted some 24-25’s that weren’t fat enough! Trout fishermen seemed to be coming in with half limits. I would say the fishing out of Sweetwater today wasn’t half bad esp. with the conditions! So, if you feel like giving it a go...I would say come on down. It may be windy…but the fish are there! However, no matter the weather…we do have our newly opened food trailer that will be serving pulled pork sandwiches, shrimp poboys and burgers with fries Friday, Saturday and Sunday! So, even if you aren’t looking to go fishing, come on down to Sweetwater and enjoy a nice lunch! Also, remember to grab a breakfast biscuit in the morning..if you are going to be hitting the water for some fishing fun! We can’t wait to see you here at Sweetwater Marina, the best marina around! We are known for our great service and all that we offer our customers…from getting tips from Mr. Ronnie and Tony in the bait shop on where the hotspots are, to letting them back down your boat for you, they’ll give you a ride to and from your vehicle on our golf court, they will clean and package your fish for you, stock your live well with some of the finest live shrimp around, pump you some of our non-ethanol fuel, anything you need..the guys are here to help.. and with a smile! Don’t forget about our lodging…low prices, the best location and a nice place to hang out with your buddies and rest up for some fishing action! We did have a cancellation for Saturday night..so, call us now to book the last open room! LODGING INFORMATION: Our one bedroom lodges sleep up to 6 guest; it includes a galley kitchen (microwave, refrigerator, toaster oven, griddle, bbq pit, dining area, living room area (with 2 full sized sofas’, one being a sofa sleeper), free cable and Wi-Fi, and a full bathroom.
CHARTER INFORMATION: The charters run up to $750.00 for up to 4 anglers for a full day. On the charter, we provide equipment, bait, licenses, if necessary, fish cleaning and the packaging of the fish. The only thing you need to bring is your food, drinks, sunglasses, sunscreen and an empty ice chest to bring home your catch. Our captains specialize in in-shore fishing; usually, the catch consists mostly of Speckled Trout, Reds, and Bass.
