LDWF to offer durable fishing and hunting license card

Submit your artwork to the contest and you may be featured on the card

The Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries will begin selling durable collector’s license cards in the near future. These collectible cards will allow you to carry all of your active licenses on one long-lasting card that fits right in your wallet. These collector cards will feature new artwork each year from our very own outdoor enthusiasts.

Submit your artwork

Are you an artist or love photographing the Louisiana Outdoors? The LDWF is looking for some iconic Louisiana outdoor artwork. They are looking for user-submitted, original artwork or photographs of Louisiana wildlife, game, fish, or scenic images to be featured on the new durable license cards.

To participate, simply click the link below, enter your contact information, and upload your image(s) by December 1.

Winners will be notified by email, will have their artwork featured on the durable license cards for 12 months, and will be featured on the LDWF website and social media channels throughout the year.

The durable license cards will go on sale in 2024 and will be available for an additional $5.00 fee.

The proceeds from the card sales help fund LDWF’s mission to manage, conserve, and promote wise utilization of Louisiana’s renewable fish and wildlife resources and their supporting habitats.

LDWF will announce the winners and the date that these hard cards may be purchased before the end of the year.

LDWF will continue to accept paper licenses and digital licenses. To learn more about license and tagging requirements, visit https://www.wlf.louisiana.gov/.
