Pro-Drive X Series Boats

Pro-Drive builds boats and motors to be used as a unit. The Pro-Drive team of designers and builders all use shallow-water boats and drives for their hunting and fishing adventures, so they’ve learned from experience what works and what doesn’t.

They have incorporated years of experience and the knowledge gained from it into producing shallow-draft boats and outboards.

The Pro-Drive X Series boat line is designed to make shallow-draft outboards really shine. After running different boat designs, the Pro-Drive design team discovered that a tapered-chined boat runs higher and drafts less water than the typical round or semi-V-style boats in all conditions.

This, in turn, produces less drag, which complements the shallow draft and translates into faster speeds and higher load-carrying capabilities.

The tapered chine and smooth bottom of Pro-Drive X Series boats also provides the best maneuverability when running at idle or low speeds. The faster speeds, higher load capabilities and better maneuverability are a trifecta that benefit hunters and fishermen.

Quality construction and attention to detail is another trademark of Pro-Drive Boats. Because they use the boats themselves, the company’s design team knows hunters and anglers run in areas where they will have to cross logs, stumps and occasionally drag on the bottom. This constant pounding will damage the bottom of most light-duty hulls, so Pro-Drive is committed to designing and building boats that have what it takes to handle heavy use.

Pro-Drive boats are constructed of 5086 grade marine aluminum that is 1/8-inch thick. To reinforce the hull, Pro-Drive runs 1-inch-by-2-inch rectangular ribs the full length of their boats. The longitudinal ribs are accompanied by 2-inch-by-2-inch square tubing bracing the floor and side walls to make Pro-Drive hulls almost indestructible.

Pro-Drive Boats are available in 16-, 17-, 18- and 20-foot lengths with 48-, 54- and 60-inch bottom widths.

After deciding which length and width fits a customer’s needs best, there are a multitude of standard features, plus numerous accessories that can be added to make the boat just right for its owner.

Maneuverability is enhanced by choosing a Pro-Drive 27- or 36-horsepower shallow-draft outboard.
