Shawn Carter and his son, MJ Carter, 9, both killed their first ducks on the same day, Sept. 22, 2023 while hunting with family friend Doug Dowden, who is the owner/guide at Seven17 Outfitters in Calcasieu Parish. They will be documenting their first year’s waterfowl hunting experiences on the YouTube channel @Ducksndanger.
