The sunset redfish spectacle

I photographed my son-in-law, David Osborn, fishing out of Shell Beach on Sept. 18, 2021. At around 5 p.m., after the storms had passed through, we headed over to Campos Marina and picked up some live shrimp. Due to the late start, we cut through the canal to Lake Borgne to fish some spots on the lake. By 7:30 p.m., we had chested our limit of reds as well as a black drum, sheephead and freshwater catfish. After limiting with reds, I snapped this photo of my son-in-law, David, just before sunset. We left a redfish frenzy after emptying our leftover shrimp from the wet well.
