On the morning of Dec. 3, 2021, Tanner and his dad launched at the Rigolets Marina and set their course to the east side of the Biloxi Marsh. They were greeted with clean water and an outgoing tide. Not only were the specks hungry, but this big girl decided that the Voodoo Shrimp under a Four Horseman Cork that Tanner was fishing with was too tempting to pass up.
After a 10 minute back and forth battle, Tanner had her whipped in to submission. They brought her in for a quick photo op and she was released to fight another day. It was a proud moment for dad to say the least!
