My son, Hunter Links, caught his first bass that he did everything by himself. Righted his line, cast his line, set the hook and reeled him in. He has helped me with every aspect of our home pond. We bought the fish to stock it two years ago and he helped me release the fish. Now he helps me feed the fish by filling the fish feeder and even hand throwing feed into the pond. This bass was caught on a white KVD spinnerbait and weighed 3.9 pounds. He was over the moon proud of himself, but he doesn’t even realize how proud I am of him (even if he was fishing in his underwear).
