While on his family’s yearly week long stay at Toledo Bend, 12-year-old Brock Barlow from Starks, La., caught this 4-pound bass July 10 on a piece of weenie while trying to catch catfish on the bottom. His first cast was a little off target, so while reeling in fast the weenie was on the top and the bass hit it. The fish was released. This was Brock’s best bass so far.
