STRATOS 189 VLO

The Stratos 189 VLO is a tournament-ready craft that is big on features and standard equipment, which makes it an even bigger value. The 189 VLO embraces the evolution of bass fishing, offering a wealth of tournament-specific features new and unique to the marine industry.

Every 189 VLO is built using 100-percent composite construction and includes a list of features that dominate other boats in its class.

Features of the 189 VLO begin with an easily deployed and stored, piston-assisted passenger windscreen that stores flush in the cockpit when not in use. The windscreen offers the comfort of a traditional passenger console while using only a fraction of the space.

For more durability and easier cleaning, the seats are covered with a durable, easy-to-clean material akin to those used on high-end ATVs.

Operators of the 189 VLO will find a sleek, aggressively designed console with a full complement of gauges, and the console is offset to allow space for longer rods to rest on the front deck. An integrated storage console between the driver and passenger seats is covered in non-slip and doubles as a step to the back deck.

One of the most-unique features is the cockpit floor, which features a durable fiberglass finish under snap-in carpet to allow easy cleaning or complete removal when conditions warrant.

One of the primary fishing features of the 189VLO is a work station in the interior of the boat for quick rerigging. On the port side of the center rod locker is a quick-pull organizer that stores a ruler and space for several tools. More tool and gear storage is on the port side of the driver’s console, and the front-deck step includes space to keep cell phones, wallets or the hot bait of the day.

By having everything located centrally, fishermen spend less time rerigging — and that equates to more casts and covering more water.

With plenty of fishing space and an abundance of storage, the 189 VLO comes ready to fish. Standard electronics include a Lowrance graph, Minn Kota trolling motor and onboard Minn Kota charger.

Innovation continues by offsetting the mounting area for bow electronics and switches to prevent the trolling motor cable from blocking the fisherman’s view or accidently hitting a switch.
