Raney Redmond started gaining experience in the Marine industry in 1980 as a technican for Alex Stirling Marine in Lafayette.  In 1992 he opened up Redmond Marine.  Since that time Redmond has become one of the major dealers in the Lafayette area.  They currently sell boats by Nautic Star, Duracraft, Weldbilt, SeaArk and pontoons by Bennington and Qwest.  Redmond also sells outboard engines by Mercury, Yamaha, Nissan, Tohatsu and Suzuki.
