Trestle Trout
Early AM Monday trip with capt. Hot Rod and Mike White. Stopped at Dockside and got some lively shrimp and headed to the trestles.......Lots of boats for a monday..........Caught 60 really nice trout anchored up on the trestle about mid lake.....didn't even make a move......sliding corks were the ticket.......for those who seldom have luck on the trestles now is the time of year to get in on the action.....Sea Tow New Orleans (504) 301-4545 Westbank (504) 433-4869 www.seatow.com

your prayers
It is with a heavy heart that I share this news about one of our Sea Tow brothers. Your prayers are appreciated:
On, Tuesday April 23rd our Sea Tow Captain from Atlantic City was moving the crew boat named the Cape Hatteras when an incident occurred. This afternoon, Monday, April 29, the vessel has been recovered and searched. The location of Capt. Dave McAuliffe is still unknown. We are saddened by this news and are asking for continued prayers for his family and friends, as well his Sea Tow family.

white trout
Got a late start yesterday but Josh and I were determined to go catch a fish. Got too late of a start and all of Slidell was out of live shrimp, so I called Glenn at The BSM and he said come on down.....we got em.....so we took the beautiful drive across Lake Borgne (a little bouncy) and enjoyed every minute of it.......called Capt. Jonathan Sanchez and he gave me the great advice to fish the white trout stacked up at the dam. Visited with Glenn for a few and anchored up......We were picking through the small ones and decided to go matrix....good move.....they were tagging the Lemon drop Matrix shad and we were able to put a solid box of keepers together......fun and easy time to get em greasy!!!!! The ride back across Lake Borgne was less fun as the wind had really picked up.....Great day on the water! Give us a call anytime if you need a membership! Busy Easter
Busy Easter!!!! Capt. Rob over on the westbank had a member tow Sat. night in Lafitte. 5 hours, saved the member about 1000 dollars and made a very happy member. We had 2 member calls over here on the eastbank Sunday. A Golden Meadow member was fishing the Biloxi marsh and was disabled at Racoon Island. He was catching a few trout and then lost all electrical power. We towed him back into the Pearl where he had launched. Then, the weather came! Winds and rain for about 30 mins howled through Eden Isles and even knocked out my power for a few hours. That's when another member called from the Southshore of the Lake near Sea Brooke. He was in a 50 foot Cruiser out of fuel and anchored up. Capt. Chuck rounded up 25 gallons of diesel and trailered over to Sea Brooke as it was not safe for a lake crossing. By the time he launched, the storm had blown through and the fuel delivery was made. He followed them back to their marina and all was well except for a few sea sick people on the members boat. Capt. Hot Rod is out fishing today in Slidell, so I'll let you know how he does....be safe out there! Sea tow New Orleans (504) 301-4545 Westbank (504) 433-4869

Low Tides
The tides are really low so take your time out there. We've had a few ungroundings lately (mostly in the Hopedale/Delacroix area) where we couldn't get our towboat close enough to pirouge a line to the other vessel, and we've needed to call in an airboat. The last few winters have been the same with the record low tides, so we've had plenty practice. Be safe out there and call us if you need us. Just remember a membership is only $169/year and all service is free to members, so give us a call if you don't already have a membership. As for the fishing, Capt. Hot Rod and I have been roadside fishing the bass in Slidell to cure our fix. If you fish Lafitte, Venice, Grand Isle or nearby areas give Capt. Rob Buck a call at Sea Tow Westbank. Happy New Year and be safe out there. Sea Tow New Orleans (504) 301-4545 Westbank (504) 433-4869

Stuck in the mud
Low tides got one of our members caught up in Delacroix in his mud boat over the weekend. He was in 4-5 inches of water and was waaayyy too far from deep water for us to even pirogue a line to him. We were able to secure an airboat from Capt. Clinton to assist. Capt. Clinton had him freed in no time at all and it cost the member nothing. Big thanks to Capt. Clinton for helping us get a member out of a jam. Last year Capt. Clinton assisted us several times during the record low tides of last winter. Thanks again Cap. As for the fishing, the lake and rigolets have really been producing. White shrimp everywhere.....but my last trip was yesterday and the catch was fewer with a slow bite. (weather) But we had to go to know......Don't forget that tomorrow is the last day to take advantage of our 14 month special. (2 free months) only $169 for 14 months! good day
Fished Thursday morning out of the Rigolets . We had a crew of 6 in two boats. Found the trout smacking shrimp off of the West Pearl. Matrix Shad under a cork is what they wanted. Finished before 9 am with 150 trout. No monsters but didn't have to measure many either. We have also extended our 14 month special for 1 more week. (2 Free months) Give us a call and get your membership! Sea Tow New Orleans (504) 301-4545 Westbank (504) 433-4869

Fall Fishin
We have been running our 14 month/$169 (2 Free months)special all month of October. There are only 6 days left to take advantage of the special so give us a call. As for the fishing, tried yesterday where I was catching trout last week in the Rigolets with only a sheepshead to show. Guess they do use those fins to swim away! Oh well.....still a beautiful, windy day on the water! Sea Tow New Orleans (504) 301-4545 Westbank (504) 433-4869

Bird Trout
Made an early tuesday trip with Capt. Daryl out to the Rigolets...We started in Mud Lake fishing the shoreline and had 10 or so trout when we spotted a big flock of birds.....threw the Matrix Shad under a cork and stayed with them for about 30 minutes. They were all between 13-14 inches which was surprising, and the wind was blowing small white caps making it hard to see your cork......but we had a blast and were back at Dockside by 10 AM with 35 trout and a drum......As for Sea Tow, we've had a few calls in Hopedale and a few in the Lake...Get your membership, as all service is free to members. We are still running our 14 month special (2 Free months) for $169.....as always new and existing members can take advantage of the special! Pontchartrain Bay Snapper
A buddy of mine called yesterday morning asking if I could take him and his 3 year old son, Cole, to catch drum in the Lake. Since he was able to convince his wife to let Cole skip school, I made time. We set out with Dockside shrimp and anchored up midlake. Cole was using his new $15 Zebco rigged carolina on bottom with a treble hook and started yelling.....got one.....got one .....need help...His first fish....A nice drum........I was amazed at how fast he caught on.......We sat there and caught sheepshead and drum til we didn't want anymore than we didn't want to clean.....about 15......headed in to Dockside and Capt. Eric was already cleaning a mess of fish.....he said throw em up on the table and I'll clean them for you. He just wanted to watch Cole back on our boat catching hardhead after hardhead at the dock.(his father was thrilled to have to unhook hardhead after hardhead) The sheepshead and drum make great meat (especially if Dumas is there to clean them) but most of all great fun. Cole already asked his parents if he could skip school today and go fishing.......gotta love it! Don't forget we're runnin our 14 month special $169 (2 free months) through October! Drum, Reds and Heads
The Drum, Sheepshead and reds are silly thick again on the trestles. Got a lunchtime phone call from Capt. Chas Champagne friday, as he knows I need meat for a family fry this weekend, letting me know I could get all I need as fast as I need on the trestles. I couldn't resist, so I hit Dockside for some shrimp, headed out to mid lake and from first cast til I had more than I felt like cleaning it was on. Beautiful redfish, drum, sheepshead, flounder and the occasional trout are thick as thieves. The big trout and flounder migration must be near, as the water was full of bait. It's super easy and fun for the kids (and the big kids too). We are still running our 14 month for $169 special (2 free months) so give us a call if you don't already have your Sea Tow membership. New and existing members can take advantage of the special as the time will be added to your existing membership. Sea Tow New Orleans (504) 301-4545 Sea Tow Westbank (504) 433-4869
