These last few weather changes have really helped out hunting. I had very good hunt yesterday with 13 ducks 6 specklebellies and 1 snow (photo attached.) We had chances at more ducks, but we had flocks of specks working so we did not shoot into several flocks of ducks! This morning was wild with thousands and thousands of ducks because of the rain. We do have openings for this Saturday(15th) and Sunday(16th). Next week is booked other than Wed and Thur.

P.S. The fishing has been great when the winds are down!
I meet some new friends when Faron Scioneaux and his son Mason hunted with us this past weekend. Capt. Steve Stoddard guided the father and son on both of their hunts. Mason shot an absolutely perfect drake Wigeon Sunday morning that he is getting mounted. Attached are some photos from their stay with us. The further we get into the season the more consistent our Specklebelly hunting will become. On weather or rainy days the ducks are all over us. We do have two blinds available on Friday, one Saturday and two on Sunday. We have twelve blinds spread over 20 miles of prime rice field property. We hunt no more than four of the twelve blinds per day. Call 337.302.2320 or e-mail email@example.com check out our site www.louisianaoutfitters.net
The fishing this fall has been unreal! Lots of trout and reds, mainly bird fishing with lots of action! I took a break from the duck and goose hunting to take my dad yesterday afternoon. We fished for about two hours, all you want reds and trout! 337.302.2320 firstname.lastname@example.org
There here! Lots of new Specklebellies this morning. We had our limit of specks, a pair of mallards and one wigeon at 7:01am. As soon as we left the field, more geese were going in! We have one blind available Friday, one Saturday and two on Sunday. We hunt from comfortable pit blinds and ride our clients to the blinds on 4 wheelers. On site lodging and meals available. I have a fishing trip this afternoon, so leave a message if I can't answer.
If you enjoy shooting (and eating) Specklebelly geese, this is the time and place to be. We have been consistently killing limits of specks the last several days. We have openings on Wed the 26th, Friday the 28th and Saturday the 29th. Contact Capt. Scott Ritchey 337-302-2320 or visit us on the web www.louisianaoutfitters.net
Both groups shot limits this morning. I had four customers with me, we killed 10 specklebellies and a grey duck. Capt. Aaron guided Jimmy Carter and his daughter Carrie. The had six specks and a Pintail. Carrie shot her first speck on the wing, a big barred up pretty bird. Saw thousands of specks this am. Contact Capt. Scott Ritchey 337-302-2320 or visit us on the web www.louisianaoutfitters.net
Still killing specks everyday! Ducks have been few and far between, but the Specklebellies have been consistant. We have openings for Saturday the 29th and Sunday the 30th. Capt. Scott Ritchey 337.302.2320 www.louisianaoutfitters.net
Lots and lots of Specklebellies! Some Snows and Blues and even a few Canadas are starting to show up around our properties. One more day left of the first split, and it should be good again for our guys in the morning. We do have openings for the second split, mainly weekdays. So if you are thinking of putting a group together, give us a call. We will kill geese all the way through January. On a side note; the fishing from Lake Charles down into Calcasieu lake has been as good as it gets! I am booking full day or afternoon fishing trips as long as it stays good. Contact Capt. Scott Ritchey 337.302.2320 or check us out on the web www.louisianaoutfitters.net
We have had several large bodies of geese on our properties for the last several days. So we took a break from fishing this morning and did our best to put a dent in the Snow and Blue population! We had 11 hunters this morning and shot 76 geese on the wing. We were bombed by the Specklebellies. They will be in trouble this weekend! We are holding more ducks now than before the first split, hopefully more to come. I do have availability for one group (3) hunters for drive in hunts this Saturday and Sunday. Contact Capt.
