Returning to the launch from doing a job on the Atchafalaya River, I spotted something trying to swim the swift current upstream. At first I thought it was a nutria rat, but as I got closer I realized that it was a bobcat, and a big one. It was swimming really fast, so I drove along side to snap a picture. Well I got a little too close and he decides that getting on my boat was going to be easier than swimming. The bobcat swam towards the stern of my boat and made it within a foot of the stern when I threw it in gear and drove further up. I snapped a couple more pictures before he made a mad dash for the bank, where he arrived tired but safe.

I don't think anyone would believe me, but I have pictures

A comment titled: fuel line in response to a report titled: Vapor Lock

I have seen that some people try to add teflon tape or electrical tape around their fuel line. Eventually the teflon will melt and clog the filter in the fuel tank. Just an idea for you.

I would go with a 180 grain winchester. The reason for the 180 g because it flys almost complelty flat for 300 yards, versus the 150 g which will have a little rise to it. The 180 g will be easier to site in, not to metion the extra knock down power.

They have USFWS land, WMA land, and Corp land all mixed up in Sherburne. You can hunt on any of them. You just have to be aware of the private land mixed in.
