Will be in Grand Isle on the 17th and 18th. Was wondering what the surf fishing and crabbing has been like lately. If anyone needs to fill a spot for a snapper trip, would love to jump on if possible.

Hoping some of you gun experts can give me your opinions. I am looking to buy a pistol, have narrowed my choices down to a Glock Model 17 or a Browning High Power both in 9mm. Really like the Glock, but it does not have a safety while the Browning does have a safety. The Glock is hammerless which I like, but the Browning has a single action hammer mechanism. Looking into purchasing a used White Water Bay Boat. I know they don't make them anymore and that is a concern. Wanted to hear anyone's opinions good or bad, and hopefully someone knows why they are no longer in production.

I read Sunday that it does not look like the LDWF will get any money from the general fund. It seems like the Dept. has been strapped for cash for years. Wanted to know how all of you felt about increasing license fees. With the cost of gas skyrocketing, not to mention the cost of guns, fishing rods, camo, etc. I wouldn't mind an increase since I am going to continue to hunt and fish. The.... Read More

Couldn't hardly sleep last night for watching The Weather Channel. That front coming through has and will be dropping

Hoping someone might have a rainfall total from yesterday and today in the Ferriday-Jonesville area. Have a duck lease in that area and would like to know how much rain that area has received. Hoping to save some money by not having to pump water on the fields, diesel is still pretty high.

Heading to Grand Chenier on Oct. 12th. Not familiar with that area at all. Was wondering how the trout, redfish, and crabs were biting? Also need to know if the 15 speck per person limit is in effect in that area. Any advice would be appreciated.

Was curious as to what kind of conditions the marsh in SE LA was in with duck season approaching. Wondering what the effect of the storms coupled with the low rivers may be on what the ducks feed on down in the marsh. Any info. or thoughts would be appreciated.

Was wondering what some of your opinions would be in regards to the buck with the broken antler. Not sure if it is a genetic defect, broken in velvet, or the result of an injury to the buck's body.
