Thats a good one, I like those dark horns.
I recently went to a QDMA convention. One name that consistently came up as the deer expert was Dr. Grant Wood.

Admiral Greg Clayton, Captain Zane Stillinger, Coach Craig Perrier, Super Fisherman Eli Perrier and Jack Fisher bring up the rear.
Caught at dark on white grubs...rig hopping.
95 specs...on really big one and 8 keeper reds.
Great Trip, Beautiful night coming in...Full Moon.

I hunted there a couple of weeks ago...saw plenty of does but no bucks.
Found a couple of luke warm scrape lines.
Is the rut on? Are the Bucks acting stupid yet?

Had a great hunt at a camp in Sunrise Mississippi.
saw 8 deer 6 does and 2 bucks. this guy made the team. 8 pt, 17', 185 lbs...dark brown color.
I know it's early but he was chasing a doe.

i had the opportunity to ride with Mr. Steve Landry today as he cut through the lilies blocking the canal to the duck camp...IT WAS AMAZING.
