I have a camp in the wax and have been hunting there all year. We had a really good year and limiting out almost every weekend. I recently got invited to go on a hunting trip in pecan island and was wondering how the hunting is down there. Just looking for a change of scenery and wondering if it would be worth it going down there and skip out on the wax......Thanks for any info....

me and my soon to be brother-in-law hunted the wax thursday-sunday. shot our limit of ducks thursday, shot ten friday, and a limit on saturday. mostly scaup, teal, pintail, and a few red heads. didnt hunt sunday we had our limit of ducks to bring in. great way to close the season. oh yeah comeaux we hunted your blind!!

Has anyone hunted the wax lake outlet this week. I have been offshore and was just wondering if anyone did any good.
I hunted opening weekend with 3 hunters in the boat and shot 2 on saturday and ten on sunday.

I was wondering if anyone planned on moving any houseboats out to the WAX Lake Delta for the opening of teal season?? Also has anyone seen any birds on the delta??
