Anyone know of any taxidermists in the Houma/Thibadaux area. I know about Swamplands and Bills but checking to see if there are any others.

Went to Caney Lake for the first time this past weekend on a camping trip. Did a little bank fishing with the kids for chicapin. Will porbably be going back late April. Can anyone give me some pointers on catching big chicapin there. What bait, how deep, any info would be appreciated.

Use a hook, line and stopper, put some bait on hook and....

I am getting a 4 beep code on my 2002 225hp EFI Mercury. The motor would beep 4 times then stop for a few minutes then repeat. I have what seemed to be good water pressure(changed pump this spring), the outside oil tank was half full and the one under the cover is full to the top. Took my son on his first Snapper fishing trip. Brought some friends and family along. We had a blast as the fish were crazy!!! Limited in no time and was able to cull for size.

I was wondering how far out you have to go this time of....

I am going to try a trip out of Duylarge tomorrow. I am not much familiar with fishing in the Calliou Boca. i will try some of the structure inside there and on the backside of coon point. The maps are not very revealing to say if the back side of the islands there are open. Can anyone tell for sure? I have a bay boat and looking to go mangrove snapper fishing out of Cocodrie. I know we are closed to the 3 mile limit due to the spill. But can anyone tell me some close platforms that produce well, just outside of the closure? thanks in advance.
Can anyone give me some infor on crawfishing the Bonne Carre? I have never been there but heard a little about it. I'm just looking to do a litle crawfishing with some drop nets. Maybe some advise on where to go and how to get into the spillway. Thanks in advance.
