As a rule, will deer come into a field if cows are present? My son hunts a rye grass field and the cows are now in it. Just curious as to what everyone's experiences are?

This past Sunday was unreal. My son and I met Capt'n Kris Roberts at Dockside Marina and we headed for the trout and man did he put us on them. My son and I duck hunt in Monterey. My son is looking for somewhere to occasionally deer hunt around there. I have a friend whose son shot a green wing teal this season and his dad promised to get it mounted. Well, the bird was shot up too bad to be mounted and now the son keeps asking about it. We have had a great first split. The best first split our blind has ever had. We hunted our pit 7 out of 8 days and killed 157 ducks. We had an average of 4 people in the blind. We only lost 4, but without my lab, we would have lost at least 40. Steel shot just don't kill. It just wounds and you have to chase the duck. We had the best opening weekend I have ever had. The ducks were everywhere. We had 5 hunters each day and we were limited out both days by 7:45. Each day we had a mixed bag of teal, greys, spoonies, mallards, pintail, and redheads which are very unusual. We were hunting south of Vidalia in a rice field.

My son and I had a great maiden voyage with our new boat a couple weeks ago. Hopefully many more trips and memories.
Please go back to the old way. This is way to busy, hard to figure out and time consuming. The previous way (yesterday) was very easy to follow. Thanks.

I've hunted in fields with cows before and saw the biggest....
I've never had good success hunting around cows and avoid....
I think I know why you don't see deer and cows in the same....
If the cows are in the green fields no use even hunting....
I hunted through the holidays and in one day saw 3....
