Edge files are NOT cards
Response by Captain Paul ~

The Fishing Edge are NOT waypoint cards. It is an electronic data file that downloads into your data transfer program, then into your GPS unit via a cable or a spare memory card.

In addition to the data file each Edge order comes with an Acrobat .pdf file that is a 'general' map of the coverage area and a complete description of each waypoint. In some cases it includes a 'how to fish' the location. Naturally, this file includes the lat-long of all of the Edge positions.

I carry mine onboard in a two gallon zip type bag as a backup.

This .pdf file CANNOT be loaded into a GPS unit. It is provided as a reference to show where the waypoints are located.

In the The DETAILS part of the ordering info box at the LOUISIANA SPORTSMAN's Outdoor Store there is a description of the area of coverage of each of the different Edge files. Simply click on the Edge logo to see the area it covers.

There is some overlapping between companion Edge files. The over lap is kept to a minimum.

Contact me if you need any specific information on any of the areas of coverage.
