I am looking to go down to lake verret this weekend and have not been down there in a while and was wondering where i could launch my boat. Any information would be great and also where i could buy live bait at??

I am looking for a bass boat. I am looking for something no older than about 10 years old. I would like a fiberglass boat like a skeeter, triton, ranger. Please let me know of anything you would have!! I have a 18' war eagle center consol and also have a 1987 bass tracker that is 16' that has just totally been redone. I am going out to tickfaw tomorrow for a little fishing trip. In baton rouge we had a really hard rain this afternoon. Looks to be clearing up as it gets dark. I do not know how that will affect the fishing tomorrow. If yall could give me some pointers. I am not asking for secret spots or baits just some pointer and how the weather will effect us. The best advice i can give you is to carry a few different....

Went today Friday 6 to dularge. Started fishing the north side of Lake Merchant. Only one small red there. I fished around there for about an hour and then went to jug lake. Fished around there, mainly the north east area of the lake. Only caught two red fish. There was a lot of thick grass between the bank and the boat. Stayed hung up on grass a lot. Where are good places to fishing around the rigoles? Also any advice would really be appreciated!! And is there any oil rigs in or around the rigoles to fish??
