Went fishing this evening and caught 8 sacalait. Caught a 12 inch sac. Ive caught bigger. great weather for it.

Looks like you used the right technique and caught some....
I have a 5 inch Goggle eye that I had as a pet in my aquarium. It died and I want to see about getting it mounted. Does anyone know anybody that will mount it for a reasonable price? Thanks.

This is a sad day for many people in the Coastal and West Zones, but there's always next year. Here is the sun setting on the last day. Still have another week for the East Zone though.

Went out and got 2 ducks. I managed to kill a nice grey duck. Very decoy shy. I was able to bring one group of greys in using my jerk chord. It brought them in good once they saw the decoys moving. Better than playing video games. All in all this was a great season for me!

Made my first hunt this morning since December 21st. I caught the flu and was out of commision for a good 10 days. I am only 14 years old and I can say that I never want to catch the flu again! Especially during hunting season! Did good this morning despite the fog. Stay safe everyone and the countdown is on. Get out in the marsh while you can!

Uncle Chuckie brought me to the lease this morning and had an ok hunt. Got 3 wigeons and 4 greys. Our shooting was a little rusty from the 2 week break.

Made a duck hunt this morning and got 3 ducks. 1 dos gris, 1 redhead, and 1 widgeon. Fog was so thick you couldn't even see the sun! Gnats started biting, time to go! The dos gris has 5 toes on its foot instead of 4. Is this common or uncommon? have any of you guys ever come across a five toed duck before? Thanks.

Went to the lease today and got 11 ducks. 3 wood ducks, 3 grey ducks, 3 teal, and 2 spoonies. Slow morning, but we saw a lot of wood ducks flying. Late too.

Went to the lease this morning and had a great hunt! The ducks were coming in like crazy! We wound up with 10 greys, 4 redheads, 4 spoonies, 3 BW teal, 1 GW teal, 1 wood duck, and 1 dos gris. 4 man limit! It was ashame to hear all of those people shooting 15 minutes before shooting time! It urkes my nerves!

Went to the lease with the big boys today and managed to get 18 ducks and 24 poul deu! We had a mixed bag of greys, teal, spoonies, redheads, and 1 greater scaup. Has anyone ever killed a greater scaup in these parts before? I never knew they came here, even this early in the season. Had a great day! Had a great hunt this morning. Shot 3 greys, 2 green wings and 1 ringneck. Saw quite a few birds. Surprisingly saw and shot more big ducks than teal. Can't wait till next weekend with the big boys.
