it was slow today but we got a few better then the last few times ,9 drum and lost a flonda right at the boat.

Better than nothing thanks for report.
i been wondering if its a thing they do to get people to book the charter trips.it seems like all the charter captains seem to catch all the box full of fish and no one else seem to catch the fish. i know some of them know the hot spots but all the time come on and the reason for the doubt is Ive seen the same picture one charter captian used on differant trip dates .

does anyone know whear i might be able to catch some crawfish close to the new orleans or slidel area.i never tried catching them i need some locations where they might be

went out around 1030 this morning at the hwy 11 launch sign posted no launching due to hurricane debris didn't see the sign until after we launched. we usually go to a certain marker along the bridge this time i decided to turn to the right and try along the shore line first cast a nice drum hit my line i was shocked didn't think we would do anything second cast i got the biggest catfish i ever.... went to the hwy 11 bridge today water was calm fog was heavy we got one or two hits all day went home with an empty box where did they go?

I caught a big sheep out there last weekend that went 7.6....
My son went bass fishing in city park on Marcone dr today and as he was leaving the house i said your not going to catch any fish out there.Then i asked him what you going try to catch an alligator.an hour later he called me on the phone and said he hooked an alligator i'll post the pics and video as soon as i get the usb wire for his phone.it was about a 2 1/2 foot gator. he had to cut the line.

i was out fishing today by hwy 11 between train trussel and hwy 11 bridge pulled up a crab trap line it had no cork or any type of bouie to keep it afloat i thought should i keep it then i seen another crab trap line tied to the brige so what i did was tie the line i hooked onto it. dont know if it was his or not what's the ruel on a find like this would i have been wrong to keep it?.i could....
