I checked the trail cameras that I set in my backyard and found a picture of what looks like a cat of some kind. Anybody know exactly what it is? Thanks.
The only ammo shortage we have currently is from low life small timers that go to the stores at 500 am and wait around for the ammo to be stocked and then buy it all hoping to make a profit from some poor sap. Please all you poor saps quit buying from anyone but actual retailers and these small time morons will have to eat the ammo they have bought. Wait them out, and they will quit and go back.... That nasty son-of-a-gun got away.
I seen the holes in the backyard and got out the trap and put down the water and got him that night. But he broke out.
I rebuilt the trap and reset it and added more water. Hopefully he is as dumb as most people think they are and hopefully he will try again tonight.
Tried to post pics of homemade trap but won't let me.
Never seen this before, so I figured I'd post it. I've seen a lot of things come out of frogs that I've cleaned, but never a snake until today. When I was pulling off the skin, it spit out the snake. Managed to catch a few nice ones.
I have a few coyotes around my house, and I would like to get rid of them. I am new to coyote hunting and was looking for some ideas on bait (besides carcases). I have herd dog food with bacon grease work well but was wondering what you all know.
Jack shot this huge beaver in a food plot at 120 yards while hog hunting. The beavers and hogs are on our hit list all year long. This beaver was building a dam in the middle of the road and it was working, holding back alot of flood water.
I sure miss watching the Great Outdoors on WAFB ch 9 in Baton Rouge with Bob Scearce 'The Ole Beachcomber'. He covered all types hunting and fishing. I learned so much from that show.
I also miss Steinbergs on St Philip st in downtown BR on the river. As a kid walking in that store with all the mounts, every type hunting supply you could ever imagine and people that really helped and cared,.... Read More
We had a great rabbit hunt this weekend. Dogs ran the rabbits hard and drove a quite a few rabbits to a hole before we were able to bust them. Still ended the day w/ 11 which is not bad for these parts.

We have been spending quite a lot of time at our camp since the dismal duck hunting season. Between fishing, trapping, nutria control program, and frogging we have been quite busy.
Had a great time rabbit hunting w/ good friends and got some pretty good footage of dog work, kill shots and having a good time w/ the guys in the woods. Also had a young hunter along - who for his birthday told his dad he wanted to go hunting!
Got to check out this kill shot at about 2 min 30 sec.! Then there is another good one at about 3 min.... Read More
Last year I decided to get into coon/squirrel hunting and bought my first dog. I met a lot of great people on different forums but it took a while and going through many pages to find dogs around me or hunters around me. I decided a couple weeks ago to start a website for hunters that own treeing dogs in the southern states. I've got the forums up and running and seperated by states to hopefully.... Read More
Took just two dogs out this past week for a short afternoon hunt. Had a veteran female named Fancy and a first yr pup we call Whitey. Were able to get a couple kill shots on video and I demo how to 'push gut a rabbit' in the field - no knife needed!
