Need a suggestion for a new tree stand. I have a Summit Viper SS( I think that's the model). I need another that is lighter and easier to pack as I will be hunting public lands. Thinking about Millennium unless someone have a better suggestion?? Also need recommendations for climbing sticks Thanks

I just purchased a Barnett quad 400 crossbow & was wondering which broadhead would be best to use. It came with reticle scope. I haven't had much time to set it yet, but I've shot it a few round & it groups great @15yds. any advice would be greatly appreciated as I'm new to crossbows! I've always only hunted with a firearm. I thought I'd try something new this year!

I bought a pearson recurve at a yard sale last week and it needs a string. The bow is marked AMO60 but I've seen where it says 3' and 4' shorter. I normally get my compound strings at www.60xcustomstrings.com but I have no idea when it comes to recurves.

Been looking for a bow hunting only lease in Louisiana for years. Does anyone know of any looking for members? If not, would any bow hunters like to get together and lease some land for bow hunting only?

I'm looking to get a group of friends together and go to a place that will allow us to take a number of exotic doe's for each of us, preferably somewhere with lodging. We can bring our own food, etc.just looking for a reasonably priced hunt where we can take....  Read More

Hey guys,
I shoot rage mechanical for deer, but want to spend the off-season shooting hogs. Should I stick with the rage or go with fixed blade.
I shoot the Hoyt spyder, 70#.

If anyone finds or know of someone who has found a Hoyt carbon matrix please contact Scott Dupre at (337)578-1883 it would be greatly appreciated. The bow was in a grey pro 44 case. This morning on 1-20-15 my dad and I were returning from a morning bow hunt and it flew out of the boat onto the hwy. We travelled north on Hwy 317 from burns point onto hwy 90 then travelled west to Baldwin. Thanks....  Read More

Just bought a crossbow a barnett raptor fx. Was wanting you use it for hog hunting. Was wondering if anyone knew if this would be a good choice and if there was anything I might would need to do to it to make it better for hog hunting?

Just a reminder to practice shooting with all your hunting clothes on, safety harness, etc. it's always surprising to me what I find out that needs to be changed or modified when I put on all that stuff. Every year it's something. Good hunting everyone. Remember it's supposed to rain Friday for those who get to go out a day earlier than most.

Anybody use columbia omni freeze zero during bow season? It's supposed to actually cool when wet, keeping you cooler.

I hunt with a ghillie suit so sweat is a huge issue; just wondering if anybody has had any luck or issues with the omni freeze zero, and most importantly - does it smell when wet?
