Well it's good to see someone catching in Lafitte. My last 6 trips have totaled about 5 fish in the box

Not easy because like I posted you had two great days. Today it would have been hard to get a cat fish. Being retired you can fish the good days and stay home on the windy ones. Having a camp sure helps as you can go when the weather man is wrong.

Watch out for the low water. Most guide trips are 6 to 8 hours with 3 to 4 people. Say they catch a fish and hour that is 24 to 35 fish for the trip. Most week end fisherman show up late and leave early so that is the difference/

Actually Captain the water was the lowest I have seen it this year. Finished the day with two keeper reds, 3 bass, two breakoffs and about 20 throwback reds that all came in right at 14 1/2 inches.

Went to head in and caught me a carolina skiff with a husband and wife and two kids that needed a tow. Glad to help out a fellow fisher family but I'm glad I pay for my sea tow membership.
