Mardi Gras Weekend in Delacroix
Went down to Delacroix Friday afternoon and decided to take a quick trip and see if we could find some fish. Wound up with 15 trout and a red in about 2 hours. Had SlickWitIt on the boat with us the rest of the trip. 65 trout Saturday, 75 trout limit on Sunday, and another 41 on Monday... That was with a 20mph wind and debating how close the rain was and whether or not it was time to go in. Nice 4 day trip for Team Skill-N-Talent. Probably could've fished Tuesday morning. Anybody go out?

We usually hit the bays and bayous off the pencil canal until we find em. Been catching in Point Fienne Bay a lot. And as far as bait, it's really been hit and miss. One day it'll be anything that looks like a shrimp the next they'll want a minnow or shad. Sometimes it's all in the color. Just depends

No. We launch at Seringe's right before Sweetwater. We have a camper across the street from the launch
