Waterfowl and Duck Hunting in Delacroix Island in Southeast Louisiana
Paw-Paw, Phil, and Si after the first morning hunt.
Uncle Si, Brother, and I after 'Jack Fest'.
Fresh oysters for appetizers and Ms. Kay's famous Sweet Potato Pie for desert. Don't get any better!
Duck Commander Christmas
The Paw-Paw's Pirogues Family had another AWESOME time hunting with the Duck Commander Crew after Christmas. The first day's hunt was great killing 25, mostly Mallards. The second day was a little slower. Most of the big ducks moved out with the rain and front but we still managed to put together a respectable strap. The last day of the hunt we went after the Ring Necks. They had a bunch move into the hole and since most of the big ducks moved elsewhere it was time for the 'Jack Fest' We hit the 'Jacks' hard and also added a few Mallards and Greys to end the trip with another good hunt. Like I always say, the times spent hanging out and sharing meals with the Robertson Family are just as memorable as the hunting. I think I gained a few pounds with all the Louisiana Seafood and Sweet Potato Pie that was consumed around the table. What a great family to share the Holiday Season with. Good Luck the rest of the season and stay safe!
