deep fried goose

has anyone tried to deep fry a goose like u fry a turkey in a turkey fryer in pnut oil? if so how many minutes to the pound and what temperature? does it come out as good as turkeys and chickens??? thanks!!!! i cook my turkeys and chickens at 325 for about 35 minutes and they are great!
