Delacroix, Duck Commander Christmas

Although the second split has been good for us in Delacroix and the big concentration of ducks have finialy arrived, the Paw-Paw's Pirogues family is heading North to greener pastures. (Or should I say 'green head pastures'). We recieved the invite from Phil Robertson and are loading up the trailer with pirogues and lots of SE Louisiana seafood for the road trip to hunt with the Duck Commander crew for a few days. They are having a good year so far with plenty mallards filling the straps. Hope this weather keeps the green flying! I will post a report and some pics when we return. Merry Christmas and stay safe on the water.

Merry Christmas!

I hunted with one of Phil's nephews (Trey) the opening weekend of the 2nd split who came down from Monroe to hunt and fish with me. I made a few hunts up there with Phil back in the late 80's. The Robertson's are good people...

Robertson Family

I met Trey this past summer. We donated a Paw-Paw's Pirogue to him to raffle off and raise money for the Wildlife and Fisheries Magazine. Good luck with the ducks, don't kill them all. Save a few for when we return from North La.
