Congrats on your first deer. You may want to have the deer rescored though, that is not a 150' deer. Not taking away from you at all because I would be proud to shoot it any day of the week but its closer to 140-145 tops. Nice kill man.

Congrats as well, it is an extremely nice first deer and first buck. BUT it is not even close to 158 inches. I have a 12pt thats much wider, taller and heavier and it only scores 132.

I wasn't aware you can score a deer by looking at a picture like the pros above can!From what i know about scoring it looks about right defiantly in the 150. What they are forgetting is the mass of the horns. And look how long the tines are. I do know that a deer is not scored on how much it weighs!!! haha. Don't let people hate on you this a beautiful buck especially for your first kill!!! I'm pretty sure you had it scored by someone and didn't come up with a random number.
