Did you tell the cop that your plate was stolen. Some think doe's not sound right hear. It so then yes you should go talk to the Mayor.

first let me say 90% of the people who have their license plate go missing THINK its stolen but in fact it has simply fallen off on the road somewhere so maybe yours was indeed stolen but can you be absolutely certain it was still on the trailer when you parked it? how many of us look that closely at the trailer when we park it?


wether YOU think its justified or not its the cops job to write you a ticket for no plate so you have no case to blame them, everyone ALWAYS has some excuse why they shouldnt get a ticket and the cops have heard them all.

with a copy of the police report showing your plate was stolen, im sure the town will tear up your ticket but if you have no report then how can you say they should believe your 'story' which is all it is without proof.

yes the golden meadow speed trap is strictly enforced and used as a source of badly needed revenue for the town but its 50 mph speed limit is not as bad as it used to be (45 mph) when it got its famous reputation as such so that has nothing to do with the fact of you getting ticketed.

And if you do not have one then the cop did his job. i live here we have a very low crime it at all I own a Collison cty. Never have any brack in. Belive you me, this is very nice town to live in and very salf and vere nice pople.
