thats what i call a bad day, did you have your registration in the truck? I would go talk to the mayor and explain it, cant hurt.
A cop that has nothing better to do...didn't those cops learn years ago when the feds busted them for giving bogus tickets for speeding. Karma, it'll get'em back for that one.
i was taught to respect the law but this leans towards the thieves so they can make money off of me--i'll make every effort not to spend a penny in that town
Hey who's that Gaspard Dude?????? Supppppp Dude lmao.........Yep that town should goes by jerry lewis Song Laouisiana Law Gona Get Amos!!!!!Beware i had buddy got stop for some thing except his was in the back window of his truck So they had to let slide!!!!!!!.....His Brother was cop so he knew what law stated
I fished out of GM for years and I've learned to be legal, drive the speed limits, and don't use the local merchants. Sorry about your license plate. If you were a 'local' you wouldn't need one!! Good luck.
Did you tell the cop that your plate was stolen. Some think doe's not sound right hear. It so then yes you should go talk to the Mayor.
first let me say 90% of the people who have their license plate go missing THINK its stolen but in fact it has simply fallen off on the road somewhere so maybe yours was indeed stolen but can you be absolutely certain it was still on the trailer when you parked it? how many of us look that closely at the trailer when we park it?wether YOU think its justified or not its the cops job to write you a ticket for no plate so you have no case to blame them, everyone ALWAYS has some excuse why they shouldnt get a ticket and the cops have heard them all.with a copy of the police report showing your plate was stolen, im sure the town will tear up your ticket but if you have no report then how can you say they should believe your 'story' which is all it is without proof.yes the golden meadow speed trap is strictly enforced and used as a source of badly needed revenue for the town but its 50 mph speed limit is not as bad as it used to be (45 mph) when it got its famous reputation as such so that has nothing to do with the fact of you getting ticketed.
what's chance of both bolts undoing at same time and not seeing license dangle????? there was no marks on rubber where plates were connected to show them coming undone while
its a waste of time to talk to the mayor!!!! yes, both bolts dont come out at the same time, it was stolen, no doubt!!! golden meadow has their reputation and will have it forever!!! thibodaux pd is like golden meadow, love to give tickets for anything at all, yet they speed thru town and its ok!!!!!!!! when u passed thru thibodaux, if u did, you are lucky a cop wasnt behind you, because u would have got another ticket for sure!!!
...I been on this 'Sacred Ground of Superstition' for 76 years...and have always been 'Suspicious' that it's crooked ???...what if 'da Mayor cook'n 'da books ???...'ya gonn'a feel like a chicken in Popeyes office ???...cheers ???
u sure are one of a kind and that is surely a compliment to you sir!!!! jealous i guess!!!!
Stan...we all get old ,sour, grumpy and negative when we around too long...I gave some brass hell years ago in Knox...some say it's better to slide up the mountain rather than climb down ???...don't miss that 'Mankind' show on the History channel Tuesday, it should be another good one...also try to watch that movie 'Breaker Morvant'...cheers to 'ya
