Deer Hunting in Outside Louisiana
Don't ever waste your money
Everyone, two buddies and myself just returned from a deer hunting trip from South Carolina last week and i want to share some info with my fellow Louisiana outdoorsman. First, the outfitters hunting establishment is called 'South Carolina Trophy Whitetails'. The individual who runs this hunting operation is a complete and professional con artist. He advertises that he only hunts 12 hunters at a time on 8500 acres. Well, we were there for 2 1/2 days of our scheduled 4 day hunt and counted no less that 23 while we were hunting. The most was 40 for the first day and a half. He puts you out on stands that he claims are fresh and not have been hunted in 3 weeks, and after 2 days it's the same ones you started on. We saw no game, and left 1 1/2 days early due to the unprofessional attitude that these guys displayed. Trust me, I could ramble for hours about the horrible excuse that this outfitter stands for. He will fool you with his references as well. I called 4 of them, and 1 of them was his guide without my knowing it. (I discovered this when we got there.) The outfitter is supposed to come to Gonzales this spring to the Louisiana Sportsman Show to hustle some southeast business from this area. Don't let him fool you too. He is cooly changing his outfits name to 'South Carolina Trophy Hunters'. Please take it from me, do not waste your money because these guys are con artists in the worst way possible. Go somewhere else to hunt out of state. Good luck to everyone out there and happy hunting.

Seems like a lot of yall have been getting 'got' by these guys. You went the extra step and called references, but the 'outfitter' also went the extra mile in choosing his references. Hopefully the few post ive seen this season about these guys will heed warning to those that do it next year. I know its got to be frustrating.
