Waterfowl Hunting in Cocodrie / DuLarge in South Central Louisiana

Closed Road connecting Dularge to Cocodrie????

We stay at a buddy's camp a lot down in Cocodrie to go duck hunting out in Dularge in the mornings but yesterday when we were on the way to the lease i realized that the road connecting Dularge and Grand Callilou Road is closed due to a Bridge broken?? Can someone please tell me when this road will be fixed?? We ended up having to drive all the way through Houma taking an extra 45 minutes to get to Jug's Landing from the camp in Cocodrie because of this closure. If anyone can tell me when they think it will be opened back up please let me know im heading down there again this weekend im hoping it will be done by then

No Telling

there's no telling how long it will be out for but hopefully in your case not to long because driving an extra 45 min to hunt when you r just a few min isnt exactly a good thing but anyway did yall kill any birds my buddy and I are on the dularge hunting club and did fairly well opening day going get um again sat morning

What bridge?

The drive from Cocodrie to Jugs is almost 45 minutes anyway--there's no quick way to get there by car. What bridge? Combon or Falgoust Canal Bridge? You had options unless both were out.

You'd have been better off taking the boat!

Bridge

When u take the left on the dularge road, there's a sigh that says dulac pontoon bridge open/closed on the right shoulder. If u see the sign it would save u the 45 min backtrack
