Where I hunt it is about 2 hours behind the prediction. If you are way out in the bay then it might be a little closer. But it is definitely a little bit behind Point Chev. predictions. I have a hard time imagining how it can be so far behind but it is. In Weeks/Vermilion Bay the tide is 3 hours behind Southwest Pass.

if u are worried about getting stranded, stay out the wax. tides dont matter if u dont know your area or winds. do your homework and your gunna be ok. or just do like 99% of americans and throw a boat together at the last minute hunt the wax 10' away from others and stop at the ballot and vote for obama. sorry to sound rude but if u cant find tide info, u prolly should stay home.
Dude u have kno idea who you are talking to for one. Two all I did was ask a simple question that didn't need a smart remark from you. There are plenty of things I'd like to say to you on how I really feel but I can't because I like the forum. I kno how the wax is I've hunted it the past 4 years all season and have never worried about the tides I was just curious on which point it was. People like you ruin the site man by being so rude and disrespectful. So please never comment on my post again. Thank you and have a nice day. To everyone else thank you and have a good season.
