Had some time off so decided to make a fun trip with girlfriend Allison and friends Gayla and David. Got to a late start due to the time change but we made our way down to SW Pass looking for some redfish. Bounced around a couple spots picking up a few reds until we hit pay dirt. Soon as I set the anchor the girls were hooked up. The redfish were very strong and aggressive. We had several get tagled up in the anchor and broke 2 rods in the process. We were able to boat 24 nice reds including one 38 inches caught by Allison. They had a great time and had plenty of fillets to take back home.
