Fished the Michoud Substation ICWW at hot water canal Friday. Let me start by saying WOW!!! BIG Trout every few cast. It was a blast. First started fishing Hopedale, with only one trout in the bag from 6:30am-12:00pm. We decided to go and try a few different spots. After searching and finally decided to start fishing again first cast landed a nice 18'+ trout. A few cast later same thing. fished from 2:00pm till 5:30pm and had caught 40+ trout with 30 keepers. If we would have started there we would have easily had a limit. No live bait used all plastics. There is nothing better than hooking a trout and getting that sucker to the water surface and watching him shake that head. Man How I love good ole' Louisiana Fishing.
