Bayou Black Fishing

Been saltwater fishing the last past couple of months, but I want to try a little fresh water when I get back home from offshore. I was thinking about bayou black area. How has the fishing been there lately. Thanks

Great!

The bass, sac a lait, and perch have been on fire, especially when you have a falling pressure and cloudy! The bad part, it is usually windy, so it makes for some tough casting, but the bite will be on!

Any Information

I have been working a T/A for the last past 2 months and have not been fishing yet this year, I finally will have this weekend off and would like to take my two sons catch some perch. Any suggestions on where to start fishing in the Bayou Black areawould be greatly appreciated.
