Friday night me and fly headed North to beautiful Caney lake for a day of MONSTER BUCKET MOUTH bass fishing.I have never been to Caney but have always herd and read good things about it.After arriving there and looking around a little there is no doubt it's a great place to catch MONSTER BUCKET MOUTH BASS.We spent 6 hrs bouncing jigs and slow rolling spinner baits and i only caught one knot head that was 15.5 inches and had to throw him back.Even though we did not catch the MONSTERS we wer looking for we REALLY enjoyed this lake. While we wer fishing in one of the coves i herd something rustling in the leaves i looked over to the bank and to my SURPRISE there was a deer standing on the bank rite next to the waters edge....I TELL THE WIFE AND BOY LOOK,LOOK,LOOK AT THE DEER!!!!!!Then the wife says LOOK BEHIND IT THERES TWO MORE!!!!!...I looked over at Widow Jr and could see the SMACKDOWN GLEEM in his eyes.....hehehehe.We took photos and watched them untill they wer out of site. All in all it was a great family day in WIDOWVILLE.Next month we are headed to Natchez state park in search of the elusive MONSTER GREEN TROUT.................THE GRULING QUEST FOR MONSTER BUCKET MOUTH BASS CONTINUES!!!!!!!!!!............HOOK'EM-N-COOK'EM!!!!!!!!
