Idleing

I have a 1986 SUZUKI DT-85HP. Can anyone tell me the RPM's at Idle and the RPM's at full run. The motor is idleing at 1200 now. Is that to fast. Thanks Danny

Yes that seems a bit fast. 800 sounds more reasonable to me.

800 is about average and top end? well i think its either 4800 or 5800 for most motors depending on the gearing but call the dealer and he can look that up for you
