Rich's first ever kayak fish was a nice king.
'Yaks on the beach in Navarre, FL.
Offshore 'yaking Florida
The Florida Gulf Coast offshore fishing continues to be hot!
With the crappy weather coming for the weekend, I knew Friday was the only chance of getting offshore in the yak. Even that proved to be a short window.
I fished off Navarre from about 7:30 until 11:00 on Friday morning until the east wind blew the tops off and made the seas pretty dicey.
I ended up with two kings, two spanish and one Mahi. Of course there were several other pulled hooks and missed hookups on other unknown beasts.
Hooked up at the end of the trip with a couple of guys from the Pensacola area. They also caught several kings and spanish.
Fun trip and hope to be back soon.

Well that sounds like a hoot! We were in Orange Beach a few weeks back for spring break and the condo's we stayed in had a pier that was very nice. The water was so clear and sea's calm we could see fish, stigray's swimming everywhere. My son swore he saw dorado swimming around the pier legs but i didn't believe they could be in this close. I see now you have proven they very well could have been.
