In St. Helena Parish at my buds came off the Tickfall river. Have done some turkey hunting in the past but never have killed a gobbler. Me and my buddy called and tracked arcross 800 acres and nothing but a few hens until 9 am so we stop and sat on a log looking down a fire break and rested. My buddy started on his smart phone and I drink water and wondered what we did wrong? My bud look over and said man you need to talk sexy to those hens, you need to pur more and louder. So I started practicing and calling up a storm. 5 minutes pass and a gobbler comes within 10 years clucking. I turn and shot him no joke???? He never gobbled, just click and pur.
