PIONEER 222 SPORTFISH

The Pioneer 222 Sportfish is a boat that can be as serious or relaxed as you like.

At 22 feet, 1 inch long, it is easily powered with a single 150-horsepower engine even though it is rated to 300 horsepower for those with the desire for getting to and from the fish quicker or effortlessly towing water toys for the family.

This leads to versatility that makes the 222 Sportfish at home skiing on the lake or in the backwaters, hosting an on-water picnic or chasing big fish on open water.

The 222 has stylish good looks, too. Beginning at the bow’s large Carolina Flare to the classic tumble home leading to the transom, it will draw attention anywhere you go.

The 32-gallon livewell is tournament-inspired and allows carrying plenty of bait for a long day of fishing.

And fishing range is a simple question of, “Where do you want to go?” with 105 gallons of fuel.

Add in twin insulated fish boxes, and a large cockpit that is fully bolstered and includes toe rails, and the fishing basics are amply covered. Fishing options like underwater LED lighting, under gunwale LED lighting, raw water washdown and several options on T-tops and outriggers enhance the fishing experience.

The folks at Pioneer know family time is important, so this boat plays great with the family, too, with options that include a vacuum-flush head, freshwater washdown, port and starboard swim platforms, deluxe removable ski tow bar and a forward table that converts to a front deck filler complete with the bow cushion set.

Pioneers’ construction is state of the art, using all-composite materials; multi-directional, knitted-fiberglass cloths; high-density foams; a specially designed uni-grid stringer system; and reverse cap-to-deck adhesion.

The standard equipment list is long, plus there are options to customize the 222 Sportfish to individual preferences.
