Zachary hunter drills 200-inch Mississippi monster

Dempster’s 18-pointer taken in Claiborne County

Lloyd Dempster has had an amazing run of Magnolia State bucks this fall at the lease he hunts in Claiborne County, Miss.

On Oct. 15, he took a 134-inch 9-pointer while bowhunting, then followed that up with a truly majestic 200-inch buck on Dec. 2 with his Browning .270.

That giant buck sported a massive rack with an 18-inch spread and main beams stretching 27 inches.

The non-typical taped out at 201 4/8 inches, grossing 205 5/8 inches.

If that net score holds out, it would be the 30th largest non-typical deer ever killed in the state, according to the Mississippi Magnolia Records.
